@Sergio - 5 visitors from Mexico (not sure how many of them voted). Yes, I could use a more sophisticated poll indeed. One that takes into account multiple dimensions like experience, country, etc. The free polldaddy version doesn't quite tell the whole story, does it? Although, I do think it gives you an idea of what's possible / realistic.

I think many Flexers overstimate his job or has a big needs and maybe its a principal reason for take a very lows rate!! and dont take on consideration the inversion that u have to make like time, books, trains... etc

The results so far look like the recruiters are voting based on what they want to pay, not the actual Flex Developers. I would be surprised if you found a single Flex developer in the U.S. willing to work for under $30/hour.
